He has an unhealthy desire to argue and quarrel about words, and this brings on jealousy, disputes, insults, evil suspicions, and constant arguments from people whose minds do not function and who no longer have the truth. They think that religion is a way to become rich."

People will be selfish, greedy, boastful, and conceited; they will be insulting, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, and irreligious; they will be unkind, merciless, slanderers, violent, and fierce; they will hate the good; they will be treacherous, reckless, and swollen with pride; they will love pleasure rather than God; they will hold to the outward form of our religion, but reject its real power. Keep away from such people."
If you are talking about Christianity, which you are, then you need to refer to Christian text and Christian teaching. I wouldn't go to an atheist to learn about Christianity. This is what the Bible says about unbelievers.

A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a poor tree cannot bear good fruit. And any tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire. So then, you will know the false prophets by what they do."

THE END DAYS
"Countries will fight each other; kingdoms will attack one another. There will be famines and earthquakes everywhere. Many will give up their faith at that time; they will betray one another and hate one another. Then many false prophets will appear and fool many people.
